Kuerner to Drive Technology Strategy and Development of Center’s Connected Spend Management Solution
Bellevue, WA- July 24, 2018 - Center, a financial technology company offering Connected Spend Management solutions for growing companies through a combination of powerful budgeting software, corporate card program, and mobile app, today announced the appointment of Eugene Kuerner to Chief Technology Officer. Kuerner will drive the technology strategy and development process of Center’s Connected Spend Management software, which combines real-time spend information with the right planning tools and insights to help growing businesses to stay on track.

In his new role, Kuerner will spearhead Center’s technology strategy and vision in relation to Connected Spend Management software. He is responsible for leading and growing the development organization, which is focused on delivering Center’s first product, the CenterCard™Visa® Business Debit Card, mobile app, and budgeting software, slated to launch late 2018.
Prior to joining Center, Kuerner was CTO and Vice President of Software Development at Carena. He held several positions at Microsoft, including General Manager, MSN. A hands-on leader with over thirty years’ development experience, Kuerner’s career has taken him from large organizations, such as Sun Microsystems and Disney, to startups. He has a B.S. from Stanford University and a Masters of Engineering degree from Santa Clara University.
“Eugene has full-stack experience, top to bottom in software development, including writing embedded software all the way through to web services and AI and ML.
