Singh to Lead Expansion and Strategic Direction of World’s First Intelligent Corporate Card Program
Bellevue, WA – April 27, 2017 – Center, a financial technology company tackling business spend challenges through a unique combination of budgeting software and a digital, connected corporate card, today announced the appointment of Naveen Singh to Chief Executive Officer. Singh, who co-founded the company and previously served as Center’s Vice President of Product Management, will assume the role of CEO effective immediately, driving the expansion and strategic direction of the company’s corporate card program, CenterCard.
Center, formed in 2014, recently announced its initial offering, the CenterCard program, which makes business spending more strategic, intelligent and connected through its mobile application, cloud-based software and digitally connected payment card. Center’s corporate card program allows businesses to connect their discretionary budgets to spending all the way to the point of purchase, enabling spend to be planned, managed and controlled on a real-time basis, complete with a 360-degree view.
In his new role, Singh will lead Center’s growing 40-person team, which includes former BlackBerry, Concur, Gates Foundation and AmEx executives, and operates in both Bellevue, Washington and Kitchener, Ontario. Singh will also guide the company’s strategic direction, partnerships, and product innovation ahead of CenterCard’s official launch to US-based businesses in the summer of 2017. Prior to co-founding Center, Singh worked in product development and business development at Concur.
